What you will be doing

Track market and business-environment developments across macroeconomics, technology, energy, infrastructure and policy, and translate them into clear written summaries.
Run competitor monitoring and benchmarking on market participants, products and market concentration, applying the team's methodologies.
Maintain and update market forecasts, contributing the data inputs and model updates behind them.

Compile product and platform intelligence on current vehicles and powertrains, feeding product and competitiveness comparisons.
Monitor automotive regulation and policy, including CO2 and fuel consumption mandates, emissions requirements and taxation schemes, and flag what matters for powertrain and energy-source strategy.
Produce recurring deliverables such as market updates, technology trend summaries and exhibition reports, and provide research input to business, strategic and product planning.

Degree in economics, business, engineering, international relations or a comparable field.
First relevant experience in market intelligence, market research, consulting, strategy or a related analytical role, ideally with exposure to the automotive sector.
Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to gathering, validating and organising data from multiple sources.
Ability to condense complex information into concise, accurate and well-presented summaries.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, plus the willingness to pick up new analytical tools and internal systems quickly.
Genuine interest in the automotive industry, powertrain technologies and the regulatory environment shaping them.
Full professional proficiency in English; Spanish or another relevant regional language is an advantage.
Curiosity, attention to detail and a collaborative working style in an international team.
