Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero.

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid , with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

• Monitor and control project costs (COGS) throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather financial and operational information.

• Analyze cost variances and propose corrective actions and improvements.

• Prepare financial reports and executive summaries for project stakeholders and management.

• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and medium-term financial plans.

• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency in financial reporting.

• Coordinate project costing activities and consolidate economic information.

• Support key project milestones by providing financial and cost control insights.

What we’re looking for

• A proven track record, at least 4 years, in financial controlling and project cost management, preferably within industrial environments; experience working with SAP or other ERP systems is highly valued.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering will be valued.

• Excellent skills in financial analysis and reporting, with advanced Excel proficiency.

• Strong competencies in stakeholder management and cross-functional communication, with a collaborative approach.

• Excellent command of English and Spanish, both spoken and written (minimum B2 level).

• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear business insights.
